Reception

Welcome to Reception!

The teacher/key worker in Reception is Mr Spencer in class 8. 

Miss Fidler is the teacher/key worker in class 9. 

The teaching assistants are Mrs Webster, Miss Schofield, Mrs Findlay, Mr Kenny, Mrs Boast(speech and language). 

Our PE and woodland day is Wednesday. 

Please ensure that your child comes to school in active wear and earrings are removed. You are welcome to bring and store wellies/puddle suits in school for your child to wear during woodland sessions.  Please ensure that your child also has suitable clothing during the ever changing weather e.g. waterproof coat, hat, gloves, scarf. 

Homework will be sent home weekly.

Homework will consist of handwriting, phonics and maths, and sometimes additional topic related activities.  

Your child will also bring home a reading sheet/books to support their early reading skills at home. Please see your class teacher when their books need changing.
