On Tuesday Y1 visited the Showroom Cinema in Sheffield
The Y1 pupils really enjoyed their trip to the cinema this week. As part of their 'Why is there a Disney shop in Meadowhall?' topic, the children are learning all about Walt Disney and how Disney films have changed over time. To help with this, the pupils watched an old film 'The Skeleton Dance' and then a newer film 'Mary Poppins Returns' so that they could compare and find any similarities and differences between them. The pupils were on their best behaviour, and really enjoyed both films. Well done Y1, you have made Brightside School proud this week!
