Today was our last session for our gardening club with Miss Beard and Mrs Scott
The children have had another great week at their gardening after school club. Due to the rain we spent some of the time inside making bird feeders. We used recycled plastic bottles and old pencils to make our bird feeders. The children had to make holes for the birds to get the seeds, and a perch for the birds to stand on. Then we added string so we can hang them from the trees in the school garden. The children also got chance to go outside and plant some lovely new flowers in our raised beds- they are looking great so please make sure you check them out!
