The reception children were extremely excited on Monday morning as they entered their classroom to the noise of a dragon snoring and dragon sized muddy footprints scattered around the room. The children searched high and low for him until they spotted him sleeping on one of our display boards. Whilst searching for him the children stumbled across a large present. ‘Who could it be from?’ ‘ How did it get here?’ were just a few of the children’s questions! As we opened the present it became clear that it was from the Dragon, it was packed full of objects used at different celebrations and a copy of a story named ‘Wake Up Charlie Dragon’ which we will be focussing lots of our celebrations topic on. I wonder if the dragon will wake up?....
