The reception children had the opportunity to try lots of different fruits on Thursday afternoon thanks to Dawn and Louise from our school kitchen. The children tasted melon, grapes, apple, pears, tangerines and strawberries! We thought about all the different colours we could see and used adjectives to describe the taste...some children thought the apples were crunchy and the melon was sweet. What’s your favourite fruit?
