Today the Year 1 children have started their new history topic 'Why was London burning?'. The children dressed up as Tudors or firefighters, used their drama skills to retell the events of The Great Fire of London, they explored artefacts from 1666, had a visit from some local firefighters and even got to go inside a real fire engine!
We all had a great day! Well done Year 1s :)
