The children at Brightside had a great time celebrating the Jubilee today.
They came to school wearing red, white and blue and then spent the morning finding out about Queen Elizabeth. This afternoon they have enjoyed a street party on the playground to celebrate. They sang songs, waved flags and had jelly and ice cream for a treat.
A big thank you for all of the generous donations to the bake sale and thank you to all parents and carers who bought the delicious cakes after school. We hope you’ve enjoyed them. We will let you know how much we have raised after the holidays.
