This week has been Green Week at school.  The year 2 children have been very busy learning about looking after the environment.  They have read the story 'The Last Wolf' in shared reading time and discussed why we need to grow plants and trees to help animals in forests stay alive. They have also made bridges today in design and technology using recycling materials such as boxes, cardboard and plastic tubs that the children have brought in from home. They have enjoyed testing whether their bridge is suitable for a train, car or person.
