The year 2 children have had a busy week working on their design and technology projects.  They have been learning all about designing and making sandwiches. 

They enjoyed tasting different types of bread and learning skills such as chopping vegetables.  They then designed their own sandwich choosing their own ingredients.  Today we wrote instructions and then the children made their own sandwiches. There were some very interesting flavour combinations such as 'ham, jam and cucumber' but most children agreed that their sandwich were delicious! 

We loved having a classroom picnic to enjoy our sandwiches.
