Meet the inspirational Salma Zaman who embeds dance movements and gestures within her children’s books. Learn simple, fun and groovy Bollywood and creative dance steps alongside a marvellous storytelling session and get your hands-on creative activities. Salma Zaman is a multi-nominated award-winning author of children’s books and the author of ‘Bollywood Princess,’ ‘HELP! I Can’t Dance Without My Bhangra Pants’ Greedy Gertie and Sally and her Super Snot which is part of ‘The Sensational Super Children Series’. The founder and artistic director of Salma’s Bollywood Academy, she has appeared on Coronation Street, BBC1, BBC2, BBC3, ITV and Channel 4, and has choreographed and performed for Bollywood stars. Salma is an ambassador for several high-profile charities, including a global ambassador for the ambassador’s foundation in America. Why not dress up as a Bollywood princess or Bhangra hero and shake a leg? Salma will read her picture book, and teach you dance moves which you can copy from your seat or get active if you’ve got the space!
